I would also say that there is no way in hell you would gain 10BHP on top of 144 without much work.... It also doesnt matter if the slides are worn ( on top end number ) as long as they open fully. IF I ever get my 998 engine sold you can have my FCR 39 carbs with zx9r airbox for £400. Thats 1/2 pri...

Slides

When the rubber gets old it is difficult to put the carb top on correct. I always blow air against the carb ( CAREFULLY ) to see if all slides lift in a simular way. Been there done that :)

144 is mighty impressive :)

I got the cams when I got home on Friday. The intace cam were snapped in half.... I think you had pacaged them good enough. The post office must have thrown them on the ground... Anyway the exhust were OK and I have measured them both. This has to be a special grid from Kent Cams because there were ...

ZX10R radiator on ZX9R

I have put a ZX10R 08-09 Radiator on my ZX9R track bike. A very easy mod that would better the cooling. The radiator itself are 2 inches longer and have all the same in and outlet but its missing the radiator switch. I did have to make a new bottom bracket and cut the fairing. The 06-07 should be an...

For this season I have done the following: Changed the rear shock linkage to ZX10R. Its less progressive and in theory shold allow more traction at high lean angels. GSXR 1000 K5 dog bones Shortended the intace spigiots by 5mm for more top end and lower tank ( I had to raise the tank 5mm because of ...
