Re: More pictures of my home made slipper clutch.

It’s something I would also have liked but am happy to let you crack on first again to iron any issues then put the how 2 up [-o< He ended up welding it I think ,due to a little vibe issue , plus a bit of security it would stay together properly. Got to say again, his motor/bike did seem like the mo...

Re: Just had insurance renewal

I am gona try a few places for quotes and add them to the list,i have more than one bike but don’t insure all of them as some won’t see light of day or being sold, but thanks for the tip. Unlucky then lucky with the plug insert, as for the recovery, we pay an extra on top of the bank account stuff w...

Just had insurance renewal

As above , basically I can’t say I ever noticed before , but Carole Nash who I have been with for maybe 15yrs plus , gave a full run through of the costing etc . £61.55 is for breakdown cover ffs. So am gona check with aa who we have for the car ,as I think it will cover me anyway, then hopefully fi...

Re: KRT wanted to enter MotoGP with Rea's Superbike

This is utter bollocks lads. Wsb bikes are inherently easier to find the limit being road based, not prototype. Kwakor BMW don't want to spend the money needed as they know the requirements are very different and the paddock is so close on times compared to Wsb, nevermind rider talent. It would be m...

Re: This should be on here

It’s not all like that mate, varying levels , I only kept going with it due to pb side. It’s a 7r frame it was a 7r bike, gsxr motor and front now , the frame mods were initially done in a 3D printer to guarantee they were spot on, before milling the Ali up.. you should try looking up pbmag forum fo...

Re: Zx6r I wheels

The c is 296mm the j I am fairly sure is 300. 2mm difference on the pads in theory . Think j is 25mm front axle as well. I personally hate that fact the kwak f*ck about so much . It’s a lot easier and cost effective to run one size but they kept going back and forth and changing pt numbers :-X Suzuk...

Re: Spark plugs for a C2....

You should first make a note of any settings before pulling anything out tbh. Carbs aren’t a black art mate and if the bike is totally standard, it’s not going to need a massive amount to get sorted . As e says , plus go for it and take the tops off and clean the slides where they run in the body an...

Re: Polishing exhaust

I just looked on eBay at that set and eBay have the other style set ( shagged) for an f model , which is weird as your style are so much better. Either way you have the better set :smt023

Re: Polishing exhaust

Defo muzzy then
They are a newer design than I remember, but that's a good thing. Check your ignition rotor, for the DIY mod then do it if it's standard and then buy the factory Pro carb kit. You won't regret it.
Whilst ordering it, Marc's factory detent arm upgrade would help the gbox :smt023

Re: Polishing exhaust

Well one thing is for sure, they aren’t standard..Either way they are likely stainless mate :smt023 If these are muzzy they have altered the design at some point as I initially thought yoshi till I looked at the collars plus an old photo I have.okd muzzy was a 4/1 design , so the opposite of these ,...

Re: This should be on here

You could do the online only download and if you asked them how much it’s likely a lot less than that. I had a flyer with the mag offering download all there bike mags for under £5 a month ( I think) as I am a long term subscriber.
