Re: Spark plugs for a C2....

With the Iridiums you get a less restrictive flash burn of the air-fuel mix. Plus they hardly burn the electrodes away.

Re: Zx10r rear shock

Just back the 12 spring off a half-turn or a full turn.

I'm sure the 10 and 12 shocks are the same length.

Re: Zx10r rear shock

I don't know if you have to alter anything if you use the knuckle linkage as well. if you don't then you will have to file off 1mm on the inside of the bottom of the shock to make it fit.

Personally I prefered the zx12 shock.

Re: E to c exhaust

It might be as easy as that but somehow these things never are. if you're going to be doing work to make a link pipe fit into C headers you may as well grind out the c's header ports and fit an E system.

Re: E to c exhaust

You can either fit an E system or an F system, but not both as there different. The E link pipe goes into the headers, and the F link pipe goes over the headers. Fitting the F system would be slightly better because it's less restrictive at the join, but you're more likely to find different link pip...

Re: E to c exhaust

Have a look here, you will need to Dremel away 1mm all the way around from the exhaust port on the head to make the E headers fit. I've heard this is a good mod to do. Don't forget to block up the exhaust ports as you don't want crap jumping into open engine cylinders. https://www.zx-9r.net/viewtopi...

Re: Feul help urgent

Does the bike run and rev ok at standstill, if so it could be one of the ram air pipes has come loose under the headlight.

I cant see why not, the wiring on these bikes is not complicated, but I've no idea who makes the system you want.

You can do what your asking for but every scum bag would be able to walk up to your bike press the button and then just ride away on your pride and joy.

Re: 100w headlight bulbs

If you do go that size don't use the pass switch as that puts on both the main and dip which would then blow the fuse.

Re: Spark plugs for a C2....

Fit NGK Iridium CR9EIX code 3521, follow the link in my signature for a picture of what these look like. NOTE, there are some fake ones out there and the quality of those is shocking and can trash your engine. How to spot fake ones can be found here. https://motorbikewriter.com/riders-warned-fake-ng...

Indicated is one thing, actual is another, not unless it was a race bike or geared down so it would rev out more but the speed would still probably be only about 170. Still plenty fast that though. :D

I've edited the post so any pictures left on the server should now show up if they're not there then the post image server has lost them. Looks like you have 6 out of 9 so not too bad.
