After looking at old threads, am i right in thinking that only Ventura made any sort of rack for the F model.
As i have the rear grab handle on my F, I am thinking if i could make something up.
If i can find 2 arms long enough to run from the rear footrest mounts and then make a top support to fix to the grab handle.
Has anyone done this in the pass ?

In and out of the cars he goes, over bridges down narrow roads.
In to a bend he leans his bike, over and over as the bend is so tight.
Out of the bend on the other side, He pulls away, his back wheel does slides.
The tyre then grips with such a punch, the front wheel lifts, the gears he crunch.
He gains control and speeds away, He smiles as he lives to ride another day.

I think the Ventura one also hangs down from the rear subframe.

Please will forum members put their bike model letter, & 1 or 2 after their Profile Location. eg: Your Town & B1,2,3,4 C1,2 E1,2 F1,2
As all zx9's are all slightly different, and I get fed up having to ask which model & number, as a year may not be accurate.

Uh-oh.

You have too much energy. Hows about I buy you a airline ticket and you help me with the engine replacement?

So i have bought a Givi rack off ebay. 2 arms and a monolock plate ( already got a monolock top box).
I asked the seller how long the arms were not including the thin fixing brackets at the end.
He replyed and said they were 27" long.
So i am thinking that if i cut the ends off and make new brackets that will fit to the rear hanger mounts.
There is also a fixing point in the arm which i could use to connect the arms to the grab rail.
I also have a spare pair of handle bar risers that i can fit to the grab rail (22mm) and make a bar to run from the rail to the rack arms at 2 points to help hold the weight.
I have put my full 14.5st (fat fcuk) on the grab rail and it only moved about 5mm, so should take the extra weight of the rack and top box.

This is the rack i have bought and these are the risers i have.
and the last photo is to show you what i am meaning.
If you have any thoughts on how i could improve on this please add a comment.
I wanted to make it so the rack can be removed and i can leave the grab rail on the bike.

Planning on some distance traveling? Why so much luggage storage? Do milk runs to the grocery store much?

I have a tail pack on the rear seat at the moment which is ok for when the wife is riding her bike.
But now winter is near, the wife will be riding pillion and i need to remove the tail pack from the seat.

Well today i thought "FCUK IT" and bought the Ventura Arms and TBR30 to take a top box plate.
Cost me with next day postage £158.00
This way i should be able to still use my grab rail when wife is on the back.
Will add photos when i fit it, as i found that there are not many photos out there with this system fitter to the 9r.

Rang up BykeBitz today to sort out the extra i paid for postage as it's going to be about a month for the Arms to be made and get here from down under. also asked about getting a second set of frame fittings for Red so i can just swap the arms and rack over from bike to bike.
He also told me that this was the 6th set he has sold this year for the 9r f model. So has anyone from here bought any ??
