Bloody Carbs Again

Post by Martin » Thu Mar 28, 2019 3:20 pm

Got the bike out today. And from the off it did not like being under 2500 revs.
I had the carbs pilot screws set at 2.5 turns out from when i rebuilt them last winter.
I set them today at 2 turns out to see if it was better, and it was worst.
Before i try 2 3/4 turns and 3 turns out, what else should i check first.
I have no air leaks and the Kleen air system has been removed.

The Smile

He rides so fast, He rides so quick, He rides faster than a speeding bullet.
In and out of the cars he goes, over bridges down narrow roads.
In to a bend he leans his bike, over and over as the bend is so tight.
Out of the bend on the other side, He pulls away, his back wheel does slides.
The tyre then grips with such a punch, the front wheel lifts, the gears he crunch.
He gains control and speeds away, He smiles as he lives to ride another day.
