Exhaust swap

Post by g-rex » Tue Jun 19, 2018 2:00 pm

Have an old DR350S in bits that I want to put back on the road but have no exhaust. Bloke in shop quoting £250 for new silencer! He reckons exhaust is specific to that bike.
My question is; is it possible to use a different bike can and make it fit without ruining fuelling etc?

Suck it and see :) I can't see there being anything special about the DR's can , put a used aftermarket on and see , try to get something from a single cylinder 4 stroke bike

Cheers.
Seems the logical thing to at least try before shelling out 250 on a bit of a rat!
